1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using https://leakdetectionplainfield.com, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service, all applicable state and municipal laws, and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.
2. Service Description & Independent Professional Model
Leak Detection Plainfield connects local property owners, commercial operators, and residential managers in Plainfield, IL and surrounding towns with independent, certified leak detection professionals. All diagnostic evaluations are performed by independent, insured specialists using professional acoustic, thermal, and tracer equipment.
3. Diagnostic Scope & Repair Independence
Our core service consists of non-invasive leak location, line tracing, and diagnostic inspection. Unless explicitly agreed upon in writing with the executing contractor, leak detection does not automatically include plumbing excavation, pipe soldering, concrete re-pouring, or drywall reconstruction. We provide a detailed written diagnostic report with photos so that your chosen licensed plumbing or utility repair contractor can execute targeted repairs without exploratory demolition.
4. Pricing Estimates vs. On-Site Evaluation
Pricing ranges communicated by telephone or digital messaging represent preliminary estimates based on standard residential parameters (such as typical $300–$650 standard interior checks or $350–$900 slab leak searches). Final pricing is confirmed on-site prior to testing based on property square footage, accessibility of shutoff valves, number of separate supply loops, and foundation conditions.
5. Property Access & Safety Requirements
Clients agree to provide safe, unimpeded access to water meters, main shutoffs, basement mechanical rooms, crawlspaces, water heaters, and yard curb stops. For pool and spa testing, equipment pads and skimmer assemblies must be accessible.
6. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Leak Detection Plainfield or its service partners be liable for pre-existing concealed pipe decay, water damage occurring prior to diagnostic arrival, mold remediation costs, or municipal excess water billing charges incurred before leak isolation.
7. Governing Jurisdiction
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, with legal jurisdiction situated in Will County, Illinois.
